Do I have voicemail?
Here are the steps to verify if you have been enabled for voicemail
- Click on File
- Click Manage Voice Mail, login using Domain\Username and Domain Password.
- Click on File
- Click Manage Voice Mail, you are enabled and can reset your PIN from this location
- Click on Tools - Options
- If you see a Voicemail tab, you are enabled and can reset your PIN from this location
Outlook Web App
- Click on Options - View All Options
- Click Phone
- If you see a Voice Mail section, you are enabled and can reset your password
How do I setup my voicemail?
This process will only take you a couple of minutes to complete.
A Welcome to Exchange Unified Messaging email should have been sent to employee's email from Microsoft Outlook. Employee will need the temporary PIN given in that email. Voicemail is already enable by IT Support. Press the Message button the phone. It will prompt employees to enter temporary PIN. Then it will ask for user to enter a NEW PIN, all numbers and at least 6 numbers long. Once the new PIN is accepted employee will be able to set greetings.
Use the credientals in the Welcom to Exchange email to access voicemail. The credientals will include access number, number (extension), and a temporary PIN.A Welcome to Exchange Unified Messaging email should have been sent to employees's email from Microsoft Outlook.
Cannot remember PIN or User Access Number
To recover the User Access Number that employees use off campus to dial into the system, log into Outlook Web App, click on Options - See All Options - Phone and scroll down. Under Outlook Voice Access the number will be listed for employees ( in BOLD print).
If an employee is unable to remember their PIN, log into Outlook Web App, click on Options - See All Options - Phone and scroll down. Under Reset PIN click the hpyerlink Reset my voice mail PIN... Press OK and an email with a temporary PIN will be sent to the employee.

Once voicemail has been setup, it can be accessed via a desk phone, Outlook, Outlook Web App or through the User Access NumberTags: Email, Voicemail
