Post Test FAQ – Moodle Server
The POST test will work on any Canvas supported browser. In some courses the Post test is used as the Final Exam, in others it is labeled as a Post Test.
Security built into https://exam.ecpi.net is as follows:
- JavaScript must be enabled in order for student to access test.
- JavaScript will enforce no blocking and copying in the test.
- Students can take test only ONE time, unless faculty grants an additional attempt.
- Students get to see the final score, but do not get to see the answers to the test.
- Students navigate through the test one question at a time.
- Students cannot return to a previous question.
- Questions on the test are shuffled, thus each student in the classroom sees the questions in a different order.
- Answers are shuffled within questions.
There is a change to the UI for instructors.
- The URL begins with https://exam.ecpi.net instead of https://test.ecpi.net.
- Instead of deleting attempts, the instructor will select User overrides and give an additional attempt. If you have a student that had taken the class previously, the teacher will need to give the student an additional attempt so that the student can take the Post test for the current class.
Items 3 – 6 are for information only, no action is required by Instructor
- Use this link to review grades of students that have taken the Post test. Note that grades will automatically populate in Canvas; there is no need to look at grades here unless the instructor is just inquisitive.
- Use this link to review individual student responses for students taking the Post test.
- Use this link to review the statistics for the quiz and quiz questions.
- Manual grading – this is only used when essay question are added to a Post test.
