General Troubleshooting – XenDesktop

Issue #1:
I can’t download and/or install the Citrix Workspace (Receiver).

Resolution #1:
You must have administrator or installation rights on the computer you are using in order to install the Citrix plug-in.
Browser settings may need to be adjusted.

Issue #2:
You do not know your account name and/or password.

Resolution #2:

Issue #3:
You cannot log in with your account name and password.

Resolution #3:
To get help with this, fill out a ticket here or call 1-866-369-6728 to reach IT Services.

Issue #4:
Your XenDesktop or application is frozen.

Resolution #4:
Select Logoff from the main menu page, log back in and then re-select the image.

To do a hard reboot, if Restart is available, select Restart. This option shuts down the virtual desktop and restarts it.
This is similar to what happens if your actual computer locks up or freezes.
